2016 – New Year’s Resolutions

Happy New Year 2016!
At the beginning of each year we go through a time-honored tradition: The New Year’s resolutions!
Instead of us talking to you about what resolutions are the most favorable and how to maintain them for more than two weeks, this year we’d like to hear about your New Year’s resolutions!

What would you like to achieve?
What bad habits would you like to shed?
What is it that you absolutely decided to take action about this year?
And of course …
What is it that you have tried before, but you could not make it happen in the past year’s resolutions?

Post the answers below and let’s see if we can help with that.

Our favorite answer will win a copy of Adriana James’ “Time Line Therapy® Made Easy.”

The best answers also will be featured on www.nlpcoaching.com over the next few weeks.
We’re looking forward to your answers.

I did not make a New Year Resolution for 2016; instead, I chose one word that I can focus on each day of this year that will lead me to my desired outcomes.
In answer to Adriana’s questions – there are a lot of things that I would like to achieve this year and I would like to shed the bad habit of procrastinating.
My most pressing job that I wanted to complete, was to have my back garden (approx half an acre)completely installed with an automated irrigation system.
I have tried to complete this job several times over the past two years.
So, I chose my word for 2016 printed it out onto an A4 sheet of paper and laminated it.
It is displayed in my dining room where I see it every time I sit down to have a meal.

    My word is – ACTION

As of today (5th January 2016) I have spent at least two hours EVERY day working on my irrigation project.I aim to have the whole project completed before the end of January.

Chris, you can add to your ACTION word the following question: “Is what I am doing right now taking me closer to my goal?”. If the answer is Yes, keep going. If the answer is No, then there is something you need to change.
Also a shift in values would be advisable. Values provide (unconscious) motivation for our (conscious) goals, and if values are not aligned, we’ll have trouble following up consistently toward our goals. Let me know how it goes. Be well. 🙂

“Happy New Year” to all of you at the Tad James Co!!!.

2016, I’ve got a good feeling about this one. I won’t share my resolutions, but I will say that I know what I need to do, and thanks to you guys I now know that it’s possible.

Thank’s for an amazing, empowering journey so far, and I look forward to being a part of any future trainings and catching up with you through out the year.

My new years resolution this year was to look at life as more of an adventure, a process, not the destination. Mom passed away in November very quickly and i am focusing on today, one day at a time and learning along the way. I am scheduled to leave Canada in May and take part in the Master Practitioner training in Australia. I’ve never taken a trip this big and i will look at this as a huge opportunity for adventure and to learn ! My fear is around the flights, 15 hour time change as I’ve always struggled with Sleep and will work on this before the trip with Time Line. Stepping outside my comfort zone this year to propel forward is what I need to do. Finding my true purpose and focus for my coaching business is my goal.
